Happy St. Patrick's Day

It's amazing what a difference a year makes. This morning on the way to school I was talking with Natalee about how we spent St. Patrick's Day last year. We went to downtown Cleveland to watch the parade and the craziness. And yes it was craziness - the train was packed with all sorts of people. We had so much fun. She wanted to head up there or watch it on TV this year. I hated to burst her bubble but it couldn't be done. So instead I read a book for class called Lucky Tucker and we made a craft - decorating little leprechauns.

So to make this years St. Patrick's day special we met a friend for green and white sprinkle doughnuts at of course Kripsy Kreme.  Jacob and Natalee had a blast - after her friend left we went to Maxie B's to pick daddy up a treat - Guinness Cupcakes and boy where they tasty.

We missed the buzz of excitement in the air that comes with St. Patty's day in Cleveland and Michiana but we had a grand time anyways - looking for leprechauns and four leaf clovers on our hike today. So Erin Go Bragh!!!
