Yes, it seems to be the on going story for us. First it was the story of selling our house. Now we seem to have adventures in buying a house. Two separate times negotiating the deal, tons of paper work, then the 11 hour, last night we find out that we can't close at our appointed time of 10 am, because of some "key" piece of paperwork. So after multiple calls to various parties we discover the "key" piece of paper was something to protect the lawyer and was not necessary to have completed before we show up to sign our part of the deal. The lawyer could have meet with us this morning at 9:30 am - the HUD was done and ready for us at that time. Then would hold possession for us to get in until he had the paper work and it was down at the court house. Instead we meet at the lawyers offices at 4:45 to sign the papers which took almost an hour and half, but we don't have the keys yet because the paper work needs to be filed downtown. So sometime tomorrow we will have access to our house. Sigh, I was really hoping to have started to map our the painting and such for the house. Now hopefully we can get access to it by 10 am tomorrow - Friday, October 1st. Keep your fingers crossed.
On the plus side Nat had a blast at the walk through of the house. She loved the new play set. So tomorrow I am sure Bronco would love playing in the backyard whilst I work. Stay tuned for pictures.
