the farm

Today was our turn for picking up the farm order. Grammy and Boppa came with, Natalee was so excited to show them the farm. They'll be horses, pigs, cows, chickens, kitties, Bruno (dog) and Daisy the cow (from Farmyard Tales) and Curly the pig same book. She kept going on and on. On the way down she got a little upset because we were not at the farm yet - she kept saying going to the farm - like I was taking her someplace else. Too funny. While we were there - we got the see the cows in the pasture (the milking ones) pigs - they came out of the barn just for us to see - then one decided he didn't want to be out there - and climb under the gate - almost got stuck. Then we saw 2 pigeons they have caught - Brach one of Paul's (the farmer) sons took us on the tour. Brach said that earlier this year they caught 15 pigeons. The we were off to see the baby goose - who is growing up with the chickens - in hopes that he'll become protective of them and guard them from the Hawks. And let's not forget the baby chicks that Brach brought down from the rafters to show Natalee and let her pet them. She enjoyed petting them and even held one for a bit. All in all is was great day.
