| Our boards and Natalee's ski's |
This week we took a trip to the mountains, Boone NC. We had several people recommend various ski resorts, Sugar Mountain, Beech Mountain and Appalachian Ski Mountain. Our original plan had been to ski Sugar but after a few conversations about how nice Appalachian Ski Mountain was for young children, we decided to try that one. We had a little adventure finding it, we couldn't find the correct road to turn on, which in the end was a blessing. Since we arrived late, we couldn't sign Natalee up for all day ski school, lucky for us or unlucky for us school was canceled in Wautagua County so the lucky part was they had an afternoon ski school unlucky for us it was busy there. I think the shorter class was better for her, four hours would have been too much, too tiring.
