The Kitchen

The kitchen has always felt small to us while we were looking at this house. But the bones, and the backyard and basement kept drawing us back. So we talked about what we can do in the kitchen to make it  better. One of the immediate things we decided to do was take down the cabinets that separated the kitchen from the breakfast area.  I don't have really good pictures of the before look, so you might need your imagination.

Before - when the previous owners lived there

After - today Bill and Dave took the cabinets down. They were attached to the joist's in the attic. 

They don't make cabinets like that any more.
