Visit from Auntie Rachel

Natalee was so excited for Auntie Rachel to visit. She was more excited that Auntie Rachel was staying for 2 beds or sleeps. Friday night we had homemade pizza. For the first time I used my bread machine to make the dough - wow that was quick and easy. Will have to do that again. Then on Saturday we had an action packed day. The girls, Auntie Rachel, Mommy and Natalee went sledding at Huntington Metropark. We even purchase a new tube for Natale to ride on. She loved it. The tube went fast and long, almost to the creek. After we spent an hour tubing we came home to catch up with Daddy. He had taken Bronco to his dog class. We thought we would have lunch out at The Melt, a fun Lakewood establishment. The Melt now is extremely well known not just on the west side of Cleveland, it's been feature on Diner, Drive-in's and Dives, well today we unfortunately decided to take Auntie Rachel to The Melt on the day of a taping for the show Man vs Food which runs on the Travel Channel, there was a 2 1/2 hour wait because they had a film crew in the kitchen. That was not going to work. So we drove to Rocky River and ate at Sweet Melissa, still a good meal just not as fun. After lunch we headed to the Rec Center to par-take in some swimming. Natalee wanted to show off how well she can swim now. She also wanted to jump off the diving board but they weren't let her with passing a swim test in the lap pool. Natalee wasn't interested in taking the test. We came home, Natalee and Auntie Rachel spent the evening having a picnic in front of the tv watching movie Rachel brought down with her. Dave and I went out to see Avatar. We loved the movie, I would go again. I loved the story and the 3D effects. It was a great sci-fi movie. Afterward we went out for a small bite to eat at Veing's. It was truly a wonderful weekend. Natalee was thrilled to spend so much time with Auntie Rachel.

Rachel thank you for the visit.
