sorry

my child is actually saying she is sorry for something after she does it without any suggestions from Dave or I. Yesterday she accidently hit me with her wooden wand. And she said "sorry mommy" - I just about fell off my footing. how does this happen? I'm so proud of her and a little bit sad - she is truly growing up. Like I didn't know that already.
