Easter Egg Hunts

Natalee had the pleasure of attending two easter egg hunts. One was at school, where each student was asked to fill 12 eggs with spare change, and wrapped treats. We, the parent volunteers, then numbered the eggs and hid them with the upper house kids (4th and 5th graders). The kids had to find 12 eggs but the catch was they had to be numbered 1-12. Then they counted the change and donated it to Greensboro Urban Ministry - so they could help out others in community. It was a wonderful learning experience and fun too.

Then on Saturday before Easter - one of Natalee's friend's had an Easter Egg hunt at their house. They live out in the country. We got to dye eggs with onion skins and used leaves as stencils, made paper flowers, and play bocce ball with eggs. After the hunt we shared a nice pot luck meal. It was a wonderful day.
