Yesterday Natalee went on an ice skating field trip with the PTA. She had a blast. Since seeing Disney Princess on Ice and our holiday calendar countdown we did last month, she has been wanting to learn to skate. This was a perfect opportunity. I love the way they taught her how to skate at the North Olmsted Rec Skating Rink. They first teach them to fall down, then he slides them back and forth on the ice on their butts. He then teaches them how to get up. Then teaches us how to support them while they pull us along. We grab their bib overalls, if they are wearing them, or grasp the middle of their shirts otherwise. She just pulled me back and forth across the ice. He eventually took balls out and they had to kick them. It was great!! Absolutely great.
