Easter Egg Hunt

Last night the Westlake Rec Center had an Easter Egg hunt - Easter Bunny and all. So in the afternoon Natalee and I were talking about easter eggs, and easter bunny - I showed her pictures of the easter bunny. She was SO excited. All the way there in the car she kepts saying easter bunny, easter bunny, see easter bunny etc. We got there - she saw the bunny and WHOA - huge scream - major fright - she doesn't want anything to do with the bunny. So we hurry up to the locker room, change into swim suits - cuz the easter egg hunt's in the pool. Everything is cool, she hunts for her 4 eggs in the kiddie pool, has a grand time - find's 3 tokens (none with a black mark on it meaning chocolate bunny) and 1 penny. We got back to the bleachers to wait to see the bubble lady - and the bunny appears again - major screaming again. Finally the bunny leaves. The bubble lady begins, Natalee is fascinated - bubble lady makes bubbles out of a traditional bubble wand, rubber band, strawberry basket, cube, so many things I can't remember. She is glued to the bubble lady but every few minutes or so - she says easter bunny, easter bunny bye bye. So the program is about to end so we split before the masses get ready to leave, pick up her treat bag, and there is the bunny - the bunny's helper shields the bunny for Nat - the bunny faces the wall for Nat - and as we walk into the locker room - Nat turns back and waves and says bye bye easter bunny. Too cute.
