Tonight we had our Halloween Open House - it was a hit. Everyone enjoyed themselves immensely. We had apple bobbing out in the garage for the older kid's - they thought that was the bomb. Gretchen - caught four apples - not sure how many the rest of the pack caught. But every time I went out there - there they were - all bobbing for apples - soaking wet hair, shirts etc. Not sure how well it went over with their parents since it was in the 50's and raining here. Cie la vie. The toddlers had a fantastic time with Natalee's toy's - she shared so well - which is hard for a 2 year old. Rory played Nat's drum later in the evening and all the girls danced to his music. They would get quite upset if he stopped.
I think this maybe become an annual party for us. However next year - I think we shall add pumpkin carving to the agenda. Also hopefully next year the weather will be better so we can borrow Emma's bounce house.
