grammy and boppa

This week grammy and boppa came into town, my parents. Natalee was so excited to see them. We went to the airport to pick them up. We had to wait for them to land and get to the pick up point - so we waited at the 100th Bomber restaurant. The parking lot is the perfect place to watch planes land and take off. Natalee just love it. I unbuckled her from her seat and she sat in the front passenger seat with the window down looking out and pointing at the planes. I'd say listen hear the jet engines, and she'd say listen and put her hand up to her ear. Then we'd watch the plane take off. After doing this for about 30 minutes or so I thought that is strange my mom hasn't called so we just went to the pick up point and found them waiting there. She tried but couldn't get reception.

The next day we help them settle into their new apartment in Crocker Park - the perfect place for them this summer. A short walk to Trader Joe's, the Farmer's Market, The First Watch for breakfast, Barnes and Nobles and some nice shops and restaurants. All within walking distance. The apartment is beautiful, quiet and secure.

Last night we had them over for dinner of walleye, pea's from our City Fresh shares, rice, followed by homemade biscuits with strawberries and black raspberries and whip creme. yum yum yum.
